Excellent quality recording

Not a great deal to say about this other than its a good recording and the band sounds a little sluggish at the start. Peculiar version of "Gentlemens Agreement" with serious out of tune of keyboards - quite inept actually - dont know what went wrong.

The rare "Mr Pharmacist" makes an appearance and is suitably brash. "Free Range" is good - some alien bird calls via Mr Bush make an appearance and what sounds like the sonar ping from "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". "The Mixer" has some serious techno noise going on.....not sure Craigs guitar is tuned to Bush's keyboards. "Big New Prinz" gets the "Hip Priest" intro treatment - the rhythm is specifically and suitably Beefheartian on this occasion and the tune swings wonderfully. There is a very passable version of "Pittsville" and "Birmingham" is both relentless and enjoyable. Interesting guitar led version of "Hit the North" which is quite way distant from the original album version. On my copy "Shiftwork" fades in with a snippet of "So what about it?".

Probably worth getting hold of because of the quality of the recording.
