An excellent audience tape - if it wasnt for some nattering in German during the encore calls once could swear it was a soundboard. Smith tends to be a little distant and overamped in places but all in all a very good sound.

The end of the early Euro tour in Dusseldorf was crowned with an excellent gig. The band are focused and tight and Smith is in fine form.

Excellent renditions of all material with a wonderful "Damo", fantastic understated start with Smith calling forth the demons. The highlight is a magnificent "Dr Bucks", with Smith laughing about Jims' problems with his bass amp - and breaking into Beefhearts "Dropout Boogie" at a couple of points.

The "Touch Sensitive" encore features extended audience participation where a punter dominates the last few minutes calling for "Mark E".

Not essential but would not disgrace any collection.
