A good, albeit quiet, audience recording of a very muscular performance. Band is as tight as a ducks chuff and powers away relentlessly at extant material with some nods back.
Some atonal noises and squiggles in parts as Rogers adds colour or MES attacks the keyboard. Mark extemporises throughout lyrics wise joking with the audience.
Half way through a quick five date tour of Dunstable, London and a quick stop off in Northampton before the release of "Bend Sinister" which forms a good part of the set, these are the last few dates of this iteration of the gruppe, and the first of two nights in Deptford Fun City.
Brix has tuning problems on "Gross Chapel" which tends to detract initially but does not wreck an exceptional reading.
There is a really good balance to this set with a good range of short, medium and longish numbers.
Sound tends to deteriorate vocal wise during R.O.D. and there are some guitar fluffs and the tuning problems emerge again.
Nice noisy version of "My New House" concludes the gig.
Generally a good gig.
